The words of Kolle Baca - May 14, 2007
I was the first employee hired by FPS. In two years I have held three titles – Merchant Liaison, Business Development Manager, and currently Director of Institutional Sales. I have never worked for a company that is so flexible before. The amount of intelligence, creativity, and innovation that flows effortlessly through FPS always seems to amaze me. I have been continually challenged from day one, and everything I say, every idea that I share, has validity here. As a matter of fact, it doesn’t matter what position you hold in this company. Everyone is treated with respect and dignity, as FPS truly has a foundation based on honesty and integrity. We are the best in the business, hands down.
The words of Stephanie Clements - May 14, 2007
I have worked for FPS for almost 2 years. Over this time, I have learned more than I could ever portray. This has been one of the most challenging, but most rewarding jobs I have ever had. I love the teamwork we have. Everybody in the company is working for success, the success of the individual and the success of the company. The great thing about the company is that there is no limit on what each person can achieve. The owners and managers truly care about their employees and are willing to help them get to the goal they set before them.

As a salesperson, my work as a First Payment Services team member affords me the opportunity to offer merchants truly competitive rates in an already competitive industry. Combined with our attractive terms and superior customer service, these conditions give me a great advantage in the marketplace.

I am writing this to say thanks for the opportunity that you guys have given me. Initially, at the job fair in Birmingham, I had to "sell" FPS on giving me a phone interview even though I had no previous sales experience.
Once I was offered the job and made the decision to work for FPS, I knew that success was not going to be an easy task. I understood the personal risks involved in taking this job, and now I know that the risk was worth it. Just as in any financial investment, there is a correlation between risk and return. Well, after 3 months of hard work (the exact period that Bryan estimated that it would take, "aka the first 3 months will be the hardest work that you have ever done in your life."), I am finally starting to reap the benefits of the work that I have done.
I look forward to staying with FPS for a long time to come and I honestly love my job. Even when I sometimes come across rude, difficult merchants, I still smile after a very rough welcoming and tell them "good luck in business."
Anyway, I just wanted to tell you guys how impressed I am with the whole organization, and I hope that any contributions that I can make to the company help everyone do their jobs better.
The words of Renee Renatti - February 16, 2006
I have been pleasantly surprised in my experience with First Payment Services (FPS). The offer came with a trip to Tennessee (at no cost to me). The time spent in training was intense and packed with information. Accommodations and meals were taken care of. A “free” night gave our group an opportunity to connect. FPS did a great job during training to try to accommodate the varying skill levels of those in attendance.
This is a new industry for me and although I felt I needed more information before entering the market, the management team at FPS continued to encourage me and was there when I needed support and questions answered. Yes, it is challenging, but I’ve already enjoyed a few sales in less than a month “in the field”. I look forward to the growth of the company and the opportunities ahead.
